Jersey Shore star Jenni "JWoww" Farley opens up in a recent HollywoodLife interview about son Greyson Matthews' speech delay struggles. "Greyson, he was recently diagnosed with autism," the reality star reveals, giving an update on her 2-year-old son's development.

Just this past August JWoww revealed on an episode of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation that Greyson was in therapy because he was still not speaking after just turning two.

In September, Farley posted a video to her YouTube channel giving fans an update on Greyson. "I don't know if I would even call it a struggle, because at the end of the day Greyson's still perfect to me. But it's something, as a mom and a parent, I'm going through," she said in the video update.

In the new HollywoodLife interview, Farley gives another "positive" update on her son, gushing that therapy has seemed to be working. "He’s made leaps and bounds when it comes to speech... He’s understanding words better, which was his issue. Not that he couldn’t speak," she clarifies.

"He has co-therapies [every] week but we’re going to step it up a notch soon and get him ABA treatments, speech therapy," the Jersey Shore star tells HollywoodLife of their on-going therapy plan for Greyson.

In early November, JWoww posted an adorable update on Instagram after she and her husband had a special sensory room built just for Greyson:

JWoww also has a daughter, 4-year-old Meilani Mathews, with estranged husband Roger Matthews. The couple celebrated their three-year wedding anniversary in October, despite filing for divorce in September.
