KFC’s International ‘Chizza’ Has Arrived in Southern Indiana and Kentucky
Sometimes I think of some pretty weird food combinations, but the creative culinary team at KFC is actually putting them together.
KFC International Menu
It's no secret that some of our favorite fast-food chains offer very different menu items in other countries. Remember the buzz about McDonald's adding corn the the menu? Then we discovered it was only available in Singapore. Well friends, if you have heard some food bloggers talking about a strange chicken pizza from KFC called Chizza, we can tell you that it is in fact a real thing.
What is a Chizza?
This innovative dish features two crispy, 100% white meat Extra Crispy™ fried chicken filets layered with zesty marinara sauce, melty mozzarella cheese, and classic pepperoni.
Yes, you read that right. This chicken/pizza combination also has pepperoni. I feel like that is the strange addition here. I mean, it reminds me of a chicken parm, minus the pasta, and it comes in a pizza box.
Here's Where to Find Chizza in Southern Indiana and Kentucky:
I'm not sure when it happened exactly, but all of the KFC locations in Evansville have gone away except for one. I mean, there are 129 KFCs in Indiana, but Evansville only has 1?
The KFC at 900 South Green River Road is open and does have the Chizza on its menu. There is also a KFC located on Highway 41, North in Henderson, Kentucky. There is also one in Owensboro on Highway 54.
A Global Craving Comes to the US:
The Chizza first debuted in the Philippines in 2015 and has since become a beloved menu item in numerous countries worldwide. Now, you can finally experience this international sensation right here in the US.
Don't miss out!
The Chizza is only available for a limited time, so grab yours before it's gone.
