Support Evansville’s Talented Students at the 2024 EVSC Summer Musical
One activity that should be on everyone's "Summer in Evansville" bucket list has to be catching a performance of the Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation (EVSC) and EVSC Foundation Summer Musical. This collaborative production gives students in the 8th through 12th grades the opportunity to join the cast, orchestra, and crew.
If you've ever seen a production at one of the individual high schools within the EVSC, then you already know what kind of talent there is in Evansville. Now just imagine what kind of show to expect when you combine the talent from all of the schools in Evansville. You don't have to imagine, because you can see that talent on full display when those students present the 36th annual show - a production of Mean Girls - High School Version.

Why Is the Summer Musical So Important?
The summer musical is an entertaining show and a reminder of the talented young people we have in Southern Indiana but is much more than that for the students involved.
The EVSC Summer Musical gives students a chance to immerse themselves in an intensively rigorous Broadway-caliber production at a professional theater facility—a unique opportunity in our region. Students learn music, theater, and other fine arts skills, which help them develop their brains and learn better in school and beyond.
By attending a performance, you are helping fund programs throughout the EVSC. Proceeds from the summer musical go towards educator grants, classroom enrichment activities, and other student experiences.
