Looking for Free Weekend Fun? Don’t Miss This Evansville Event

Free Family Fun is Coming to the Evansville Museum This Saturday
If you're looking for something fun to do with the family this weekend that won't cost you a thing, the Evansville Museum has you covered.
The museum is hosting Sustainability Super Saturday on Saturday, July 25, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and admission is completely free.
The event is all about learning simple ways to help the environment through hands on activities that are fun for all ages. Whether you have little ones who love crafts or you're just looking for a unique way to spend your Saturday, there's something for everyone.

What You Can Expect
Throughout the day, families can enjoy recycled craft projects, a children's book swap where you can bring a book and take a new one home, and even help clean up a pretend ocean.

There will also be flower and vegetable seed giveaways, interactive exhibits, a take home sustainability scavenger hunt, and opportunities to learn from local organizations that are making a difference in our community.
Several community partners will be on hand, including Wesselman Woods, the International Crane Foundation, Evansville Climate Collaborative, Goodwill Excel, Kaiser Aluminum Warrick, Republic Services, and more.

A Free Day of Family Fun
If you've been looking for a free event to wrap up the week, this is a great excuse to spend a few hours at the Evansville Museum. You'll leave with a little more knowledge about protecting the planet, and maybe even a few seeds, crafts, or books to take home.
