For more than a decade, WBKR Yard Parties have brought our community together for great food, great causes, and organizations making a difference. This week, we're proud to partner with Bluegrass Biker News Motorsports/Music/Events, the founders of the Bluegrass Legends Experience Car Show Festival, for a very special Yard Party in support of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. And 100% of this fundraiser is for the kids!

In 2025, through their series of St. Jude Motorsports Events, Bluegrass Biker News proudly presented over $60,000 to St. Jude during the WBKR Radiothon. Now, they're back with another delicious way to help support the incredible work being done for children and families at St. Jude.

St. Jude Yard Party with Jerry Morris' Famous Pulled Pork!

Make plans to join us this Friday, August 14, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at WBKR, 3301 Frederica Street in Owensboro, for a special Lunch Yard Party benefiting St. Jude.

Jerry Morris and his Angels for Ashley Network are firing up their smoker and preparing their regionally famous Boston Butt Pulled Pork for your lunch!

This week's fundraiser features two delicious sack lunch options:

Boston Butt Pulled Pork Sandwich Meal – $7
Pulled pork sandwich, chips, drink, and treat

All-Beef Hot Dog Meal – $5
All-beef hot dog, chips, drink, and treat

Coming Up: The Bluegrass Legends Experience

The team behind Friday's Yard Party is also gearing up for the 4th Annual Bluegrass Legends Experience, happening August 21st through August 23rd at the Owensboro Sportscenter and Moreland Park.

Last year's event brought more than 1,000 car enthusiasts to Owensboro and helped raise an incredible $61,000 for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

The 2026 event will feature hundreds of classic cars, trucks, jeeps, and motorcycles, along with vendors, food trucks, live entertainment, and more. And, as always, 100% of every vehicle entry fee benefits St. Jude.
