Meet The Adorable KY Rescue Pups Playing in the 2025 Puppy Bowl
I have to admit, I am not much of a sports watcher. If I am in person at a game, you better believe I am all-in, but at home on a screen, it's just not as exciting to me. My husband on the other hand LOVES watching football. So, we'll definitely be tuned into the Super Bowl. I'll be most interested in the commercials and musical performances.
The 21st Annual Puppy Bowl
However, there is a sporting event, I can't wait to watch. The Puppy Bowl! Have you heard of this? It's a "football game" played by the sweetest rescue dogs in the country. States across the U.S. are represented in the 21st annual match-up between Team Fluff and Team Ruff.
When Can I Watch the 2025 Puppy Bowl?
On Sunday, February 9th, they will battle it out to see who takes home the Lombarky Trophy. Just like the regular football game, things are gonna get down, dirty, and even slobbery. You'll be able to watch the action on Animal Planet at 2 PM ET/1 PM CT

Which Puppy Bowl Players Are From Kentucky?
Two of the peppy puppies are rescues from the Kentucky Humane Society. Their names couldn't be more appropriate to represent the Bluegrass state.
Meet Julep
Playing for Team Fluff, Julep is the first St. Bernard mix to participate in the Puppy Bowl.
Meet Colonel
On the opposing side, Colonel the Beagle will leave it all out on the field for Team Ruff. Let's hope he doesn't also leave something that requires Clorox or a Kroger bag to clean up.
