Stars Come Out for a Couple of Huge Kentucky Derby Parties

With all the rain and severe weather we've experienced over the last few weeks, I've been preoccupied enough to not realize how quickly the year is flying by. I looked up, and, just like that, we're 24 days away from the Kentucky Derby. Where DOES the time go?

Of course, you can look at it another way. We're that much closer to one of the biggest celebrations on the calendar, and, as we all know, it's NEVER just about that magical two minutes and which horse will wear the roses. There are PARTIES, people, and Louisville knows how to host a Derby throwdown.

Talk about GOOD NEWS.

And that's MORE good news, as Shaboozey as been tapped as the headliner for the FanDuel Kentucky Derby Party which will be held at the Paristown Arts and Entertainment District in Louisville on Friday, May 2nd. It is an exclusive, invitation-only event, but FanDuel will make a donation of $100,000 to Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance which awards grants to organizations that rehome, retrain, and retire thoroughbreds.

Sports Illustrated's Revel at the Races

Super-producer and DJ Diplo will headline for Sports Illustrated at the Ice House, one of the top venues in Louisville.

Diplo, who has collaborated with Morgan Wallen, Beyoncé, Justin Bieber, Snoop Dogg, Parker McCollum, and Sturgill Simpson, among others, will be joined by DJ Xandra Pohl, whose recent huge successes (including sharing stages with Calvin Harris and the Chainsmokers) caught the eye of Forbes who put Pohl in their recent 30 Under 30 publication.

Doors will open at the Ice House at 10 PM Friday, May 2nd.
