We’re thrilled to announce that our next Yard Party will benefit Christmas Wish! Join us for lunch on Friday, or grab your meal to go. We’ll even offer free delivery! Here’s what’s on the menu.

We're getting ready to celebrate the 48th season of Christmas Wish. We're excited to make it the biggest and best season ever! To make that happen, we need your help. If last year was another record-breaking year, I can only imagine what this season will bring. Based on the phone calls and messages asking when families can start filling out wish letters, I think we have a pretty good indication. So, let the fundraising begin!

CHRISTMAS WISH MISSION

Since 1976, Christmas Wish has been “MAKING SURE EVERY CHILD IN THE TRI-STATE GETS A VISIT FROM SANTA.” By giving back to those in need this holiday season, you can make a huge difference in the lives of others and celebrate the true meaning of Christmas.

Because of efforts and generosity like this fundraiser, 2,038 needy families received Christmas last year. Over 8,000 children had presents under the tree, and over 50,000 gifts were handed out during the holiday season. If you're in need this holiday season or know someone who is, letter submissions will be open on Friday, November 1st, 2024.

2024 CHRISTMAS WISH YARD PARTY

Join us on the front lawn at WBKR on Friday, October 11th, 2024, for a community lunch event, sponsored by Rhoads & Rhoads! We’ll be serving up delicious burgers grilled by the Daviess County Pork Producers, along with chips, a drink, and a snack—all for just $5.

Stop by between 11 AM and 1:30 PM at 3301 Frederica Street, Owensboro. Thanks to our generous sponsors, 100% of the proceeds will go directly to families in need this holiday season. We can’t wait to see you there!

And, this year we added a bake sale! Stop by and cure your sweet tooth.

PRE-ORDER LUNCH, AND HAVE IT DELIVERED

We're offering FREE deliveries in the Owensboro area on all lunches of 5 or more. Why leave the office when we can bring lunch to you? If you want to pre-order, it would help us a lot. We have enough food for 300 meals, so we need you.
