National Sandwich Month is kicking off with a massive list of the best places in the U.S. to enjoy a sandwich, thanks to Yelp, and two Indiana eateries made the list!

Whether it's a juicy burger or a gourmet grilled cheese, I am always down to try a tasty sandwich. So I am super excited to come across a first-of-its-kind list from Yelp. They have shared the Top 100 Sandwich Shops in the country, and they've got me ready for a road trip to some Indiana restaurants!

August is National Sandwich Month! From classic Philly Cheesesteaks and stacked Italian heroes to hot-and-spicy fried chicken subs and oozy New Orleans po’boys, the sandwich is continuously posing for its close-up as a social media sensation. Indiana’s Top-Ranked Sandwich Shops

When it comes to sandwiches in the Hoosier States, two spots made the list, and a quick visit to their social media pages and it's easy to see why.

Oh Mamma’s on the Avenue – South Bend

Known for their subs and paninis, Oh Mamma's on the Avenue, located on Mishawaka Avenue in South Bend, grabbed the number 42 spot.

Fitzgerald’s Lunch House – Indianapolis

Meanwhile, on Otis Avenue in Indianapolis, it's Fitzgerald's Lunch House holding in at number 53 on the list with an offering of sandwiches like the Wilbur, made with pulled pork on Brioche, and the Roast Beast served with horseradish spread and provolone.
