Our station is a proud sponsor of the upcoming Henderson Summerfest. Returning to Western Kentucky for its fourth year in a row this free event, presented by First Federal Savings Bank, will bring an amazing night of live entertainment while raising money for a good cause.
Fourth Annual SummerFest Headed to Henderson, Kentucky
There is no doubt that we love a good outdoor festival around here but when you add in live music, delicious food offerings, and the opportunity to give back to local charities, we are 100% here for it!
Henderson Summerfest: Three Friends and a Vision
The vision of three friends and Henderson, Kentucky residents, Jonathan Dixon, Brian Bishop, and Greg "Moon" Mullins, Henderson SummerFest will feature live music with a focus on raising awareness and money for area non-profits.
Henderson Summerfest Gives Back to the Community
For 2025, Henderson Christian Community Outreach will be the beneficiary of the annual event. While Summerfest is completely free to attend, the public is encouraged to make donations through the SummerFest website which will then go to Henderson Christian Community Outreach, a local ministry that helps those in need of resources like food, housing, and medicine.

What To Expect While Attending Henderson Summerfest
In its fourth year, Henderson SummerFest will offer up something for everyone. From the activities planned for the kids to the local delicious food options, and the vendor booths too, this is one event you don't want to miss. There will even be a beer garden for those over 21 and an incredible night of live music!
Henderson Summerfest Main Stage: Paralandra
The musical lineup for Henderson Summerfest is stacked for 2025! Opening the evening, the community will enjoy music from Paralandra. Formed in 2013, the band got its start when daughter-dad duo, Casandra and Paul Carson, wrote some songs together for a one-time gig at their local county 4th of July celebration. A couple of years later, they added Sawyer Rikard on bass. The band has played festivals like Rockfest, SXSW, Rocklahoma, and more.
Henderson Summerfest Main Stage: Ryan Cabrera
You likely remember the name Ryan Cabrera. The multi-plantinum singer and songwriter is known for his hits like "On The Way Down," "True," and "Shine On." Cabrera is currently on tour with POP2K, O-Town, and LFO.
Henderson Summerfest Main Stage Headliner: Free Fallin' The Tom Petty Experience
The headliner for 2025, Free Fallin' The Tom Petty Experience, has been touring internationally for nearly two decades. Free Fallin brings the music of Tom Petty to life on stage for fans of all ages.
With its highly skilled members, this band delivers a professional and entertaining experience for any Tom Petty fan. Their show, featuring all of Tom's hits, includes instruments, and costumes that re-create the authentic experience of a Tom Petty concert. Free Fallin' is honored and humbled to continue performing Tom Petty's music. In the wake of his passing in October of 2017, along with the music world, his fans and family, our hearts were broken.
When & Where to Experience Henderson Summerfest
The Fourth Annual Henderson SummerFest is happening on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at the intersection of Water Street and 2nd Street, in downtown Henderson, Kentucky. The food trucks, beer garden, and kids activities will kick off at 5 pm CST with the free concert beginning that evening at 6:00 pm.
How to Purchase a VIP Table for Henderson Summerfest
Again, the event is free to attend. However, there are a limited number of reserved tables that are for sale. A reserved table is $1,000 and include seating for 8. VIP Meet and Greet and photo opportunities with the bands will also be available. You can email summerfestky@gmail.com if you would like to purchase one of the reserved tables for the event.
