My Old Kentucky Dinner Train

How have I lived this close to Kentucky my whole life and never knew that there was a dinner train in Kentucky?  This dinner train isn't too far from the Tri-State either as it's located in Bardstown, Kentucky.

Of course, with a name like My Old Kentucky Dinner Train, you can imagine this train hosts many different dinners throughout the year.  The dinner train regularly hosts dinner excursions that take about two and a half hours, and with your ticket, you get to enjoy a four-course meal. Along with their dinner excursions they often host fun-themed dining experiences as well, and the dinner train is even hosting a special romantic Valentine's Day getaway.

If you want to take your Valentine's Day to the next level, you can book a romantic dinner for two aboard My Old Kentucky Dinner Train during their special Valentine-themed dinner event.  The evening starts with live music at the train depot and continues with a romantic candlelit dinner aboard the dinner train.

Express your love with a romantic evening of luxury dining, exquisite service on board a relaxing high-class travel experience from yester-year. Start your experience with a complimentary toast of bubbly as you enjoy live string musicians in our depot building before boarding the 1940s restored luxury dining train cars. Upon arriving at your table for four (or table for two should you choose a “Private Table for Two” for this date) you will be greeted with your candlelit tablescape as well as a bottle of your choice wine and two keepsake wine glasses to remember your evening.

The Valentine's Day dinner train will take place on Friday, February 9th, and will take you on a 2.5-hour train ride while you wine and dine.  Now this won't be a cheap date as tickets start at $139/person, but you will also have a date night you won't soon forget.
