Kentucky Candle Company Partners with Little Debbie for New Line of Candles
Nearly everyone grew up enjoying Little Debbie snack cakes. My mom almost always tossed a package of Swiss Cake Rolls into my lunch box when I was in school, and they're still my favorite of the entire Little Debbie lineup to this day. Even now as a guy in my late 40s, anytime I'm out running errands or my family and I are taking a road trip, if we stop at a gas station or convenience store for a quick break, I search for the Little Debbie section to grab a pack of Swiss Cake Rolls, Fudge Rounds, or any one of the other cakes available. Now, thanks to a Kentucky candle company, we can enjoy the sweet smell of our cake of choice anytime we want at home.
Goose Creek Candles Partners with Little Debbie for a New Line of Candles
Goose Creek Candles in Liberty, Kentucky, roughly two hours southeast of Louisville has partnered with the popular snack cake company for a line of candles designed to smell like one of 12 of their most popular products.
Scents include Oatmeal Cream Pies which Goose Creek describes as "a combination of sweet, creamy vanilla and light-baked oats with hints of warm molasses and a simple spice blend" that features "prominent scent notes" of "Baked Oats, Creamy Vanilla, Warm Molasses and Soft Spices."
There's one modeled after my favorite cakes, Swiss Cake Rolls the company describes as "a soft undertone of sweet, creamy vanilla balanced by the chocolate aroma of moderately sweet baked chocolate cake" with notes of "Whipped Vanilla Cream, Warm Chocolate, & Milk Chocolate Cake."
They even have one based on the seasonal Christmas Tree cake which they say has "a comforting blend of warm, lightly baked, buttery cake notes combined with sweet, creamy vanilla and the essence of holiday spirit" with notes of "Buttery Cake, Whipped Vanilla & Sweet Creamy Icing."
Here's a look at the full lineup.
Can I get one of each, please? The tough part may be trying not to take a bite out of them.
Each candle is a three-wick candle and is available for $13.99 each through the Goose Creek Candle website.
