Indiana Shelter Dog is Ready to Steal Your Heart (and Bed!)

This handsome fella is SEYMORE - he is our Thursday Pet of the Week and he is available for adoption at It Takes a Village in Evansville

SEYMORE is an Australian Shepherd mix. He is just about a year old and weighs about 35 pounds. SEYMORE has been socialized with a small dog, but he has not yet been around kids. He had a tendency to chase after cats.

Our friends at ITV tell us that when SEYMORE sees rescue staff now, he is quick to push those ears back and beg for pets. He enjoys cuddles, particularly if allowed to sleep in bed with his person. SEYMORE has amazing potential to be someone's devoted friend.

SEYMORE's adoption fee has been reduced to just $50 through Saturday, April 29th.

All of the animals at ITV are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, and FIV/FeLV-tested.
