Pigasus Pictures, a movie production company based out of Bloomington, is giving high school students all across Indiana the chance to live out their movie making dreams with a contest they call, Project Pigasus.

The competition is open to students in 9th through 12th grade, with the winning screenplay having their vision turned into an actual short film! The finished project will be shown during select screenings of other Pigasus feature-length films, and be sold through various online outlets with proceeds from the sales benefiting "artistic endeavors for the young artists."

Entries are being accepted now through the Project Pigasus website, and must be submitted by January 25th, 2018.

Last year's winner, Through the Window, written by Southwestern High School student, Kira Daniels of Madison, Indiana can be streamed for free through Vimeo.
