I saw a notification on social media today that the days are finally getting longer. In fact, the sun doesn't set until after 6 pm! Though it's still technically considered winter, when we hit March, I think of it as spring! Flowers will start popping up, leaves will spread, and the birds will make their migration back home.

- Turning off spot lights and/or decorative lighting
- Turning off interior lights when leaving a room or drawing blinds/shades
- Using down-shielded lighting outdoors
- Adding timers and/or motion sensors to outdoor lighting, where possible
