We were all hoping that the 'Rona would impact the annual Susan G. Komen More Than Pink Walk, but it has. But try as it might, the 'Rona can completely shut down the walk, it just made the Komen folks get a little more creative, and that's what they've done.

The 2020 More Than Pink Walk will now be virtual, but what does that really mean. We've seen that other 'virtual' events have just been moved to a website or streaming service, but how do you move a walk that is normally attended by thousands of people? You can probably think of other questions, too. Luckily, you don't have to rely on me to try and answer them - that would not end well for anybody. I think the best course of action is to go straight to the source and get some answers from event organizers.

So we got our friend Rachel Smith, Development Manager for the Evansville Tri-State Affiliate of Susan G. Komen, on the phone. Ross and I tried to cover the questions you might have concerning the More Than Pink Walk., and of course, Rachel had all the answers. Now, you can have all the answers...just take a listen below.

We invite you to join us this year on Sunday, September 27, 2020 for an innovative virtual event. If you still have more questions, KomenEvansville.org would be a good place to start.
