This is a page someone made on Facebook and it's really awesome. It's called "Evansville" lost pets where you can post to their page if you lost your furry family member or if you found someone elses beloved pet.   They then share the photos, and hopefully can get their furry friend home soon! I think it's great that someone has decided to make a page on Facebook to help Evansville residents find their pets.  With social media being so big, and news travels so fast, hopefully this page can get pets back to their rightful owners as fast as possible.

I've got to admit, I'm a sucker for animals, I've got a 6 year old Chocolate Lab, and she is my big baby.  The thought of losing her makes me sick to my stomach, but sites like this make me feel a lot better that people are coming together to help each other get their furry family member home!

A couple recent posts on the page are:

his pup was just brought into animal control. Found last night on Florida Street. Someone in that area said they thought they had seen a little boy walking her earlier. Very sweet dog obviously someone's pet. Finder kept inside last night with no accidents in the house. Is wearing a pale purple collar with rhinestones on it

Those are just a few of the many posts on the Evansville Lost Pets facebook page.  As you can tell each story is unique, and hopefully most will have a happy ending.  Be sure to "like" Evansville lost pets on facebook!
