Even though we're smack dab in the middle of chilly Tri-State winter, the warm days of spring and summer will be here before we know it which means many of our favorite outdoor events and activities will also be making their return including the weekly Franklin Street Bazaar. With the start of this year's bazaar set for the end of May, organizers are beginning their search for vendors to fill the lawn of the West Branch Library now.

Franklin Street Bazaar Accepting Vendor Applications Online

Each year, vendors from around the Tri-State area set up shop on the lawn looking to sell their products to the hundreds of people that arrive looking to support local businesses. Products range from fresh produce to locally-sourced honey, home decor, and more. A number of food trucks are also usually set up on Franklin Street as well as 10th Avenue to provide lunch options to those in attendance.

The 2023 edition will run for 13 Saturdays beginning May 27th, and organizers are asking potential vendors who are interested in being a part of this year's event to fill out an online form for the opportunity to be considered.

It's important to note that just because you (or someone you know who may be interested) fill out the form, it does not guarantee you a spot at this year's Bazaar. As the information at the top of the form says, it is an "interest form," meaning organizers are just wanting to see how many people are wanting to participate and what type of product they'll be selling each week in an effort to prevent a large number of vendors all selling the same thing. The "Market Master" will have the final say as to which vendors will be able to participate.

The form also provides details on the cost to rent the booth space as well as the type of general liability insurance vendors must carry in order to participate. You can read all the stipulations and apply to be considered here.
