Every week we feature an on-air segment with Taylor Merriss, she is the Special Projects Coordinator with the Evansville Police Department. Over the summer, we took a little road trip to meet a celebrity Chef, but little did I know that Taylor has a Chef in her family!

Our trip was to FLAVORTOWN and yes, that is Guy Fieri feeding Taylor a donut!

Meet Chef Abbi Merriss

So, Abbi Merriss graduated from Reitz high school in 2001. She is the co-owner and culinary mastermind behind the dishes and cocktails at Bluebeard in Indianapolis, IN. Oh, and did I mention that she is Taylor's sister? How cool is that? I had so many questions for Taylor about her sister the Chef. Luckily, we had plenty of time for chit-chat because Pigeon Forge is a long drive from Evansville.

A Jeopardy Clue

This is a fun little fact. In 2018, Bluebeard was used as a clue on the television game show Jeopardy. The funny part is, they didn't have a clue that their Breakfast of Champions cocktail was going to be on the show.
