Dinky's Auction Center

Located in the heart of Southern Indiana's Amish country is an astounding auction house. Boasting nine or more auction rings going simultaneously, you can find anything from small animals and farm equipment to furniture and collectibles. Featuring weekly auction shows, Dinky's invites you out for an evening of fun and fellowship as well as delicious bakes good from their bake sales. There are so many things to discover at the auction center and everything a collector's heart could want. Some vendors sell items at retail price, Amish baked goods, and a fresh produce stand. Dinky's is open on Fridays and has its horse auctions and other specialty sales on Saturdays. Visit the auction center's website for a full list of events for special sales.

See 11 Unique Attractions You'll Only Find in Indiana

From the World's Largest Ball of Paint to a pink elephant drinking a martini, the Hoosier State is filled with quirky little things worth a detour on your next road trip.

16 Indiana Towns with Dirty-Sounding Names

A majority of these towns were given their names in the mid-to-late 1800s as settlers making their way across the country found unclaimed plots of land and decided to make them their own. While I imagine they thought the names they came up with were innocent, and perhaps a tribute to something in their lives, pop culture has warped our minds to the point since then that we can't help but think of something about the town that was never intended by its founders. Take a look at this list. I guarantee there's at least one name that will make you chuckle.
