The CEO of the Evansville Rescue Mission makes a passionate plea on Facebook seeking the public's help in keeping their residents hydrated as the heat and humidity of an Evansville summer sets in this weekend.

With the forecast calling for temperatures to head into the 90's for the first time this year beginning Friday, staying hydrated is vital for everyone, especially the homeless who may not have the means to do so.

As noted in the Facebook post, the bottled water drive will continue throughout the duration of the summer. If you'd like to donate, simply drop off a case, or two, or twenty, of bottled water at the loading dock of the Evansville Rescue Mission at 500 Walnut Street in downtown Evansville.
