Just when we we finally getting to enjoy a few days of sunshine and warmer temperatures after the heavy rains we endured over the past week and a half, Mother Nature is sending yet another storm system our way on Thursday.

Thankfully, it doesn't appear we're in for another monsoon, however according to a Hazardous Weather Outlook issued by the National Weather Service early Wednesday morning, locally heavy rain is possible in some areas of the Tri-State.

The main threat with these storms according to the National Weather Service is damaging winds, frequent lightning, and hail. As of this writing, the forecast is calling for 60% chance of thunderstorms Thursday night into Friday, so while it's no guarantee we'll see something, weather is unpredictable, so it's always a good idea to be prepared in the event things go sideways.
