Emma Roberts Dances to Carly Rae Jepsen, Has Us Feeling ‘E•MO•TION’-al
Carly Rae Jepsen's third studio album, E•MO•TION, was praised by fans and reviewers alike, with sites including this one naming it one of 2015's best albums. Given that sales didn't quite reflect its worth, we consider it one of the most tragically underrated albums of all time.
Don't believe us? Then maybe the constant stream of social media love and support for Jepsen from Scream Queens diva Emma Roberts will help.
Last yesterday evening (January 28), Roberts took to Instagram and posted a throwback video of herself doing a charming dance to "Your Type"—the epic third single from E•MO•TION, decked out in a gorgeous '70s-inspired Gucci ensemble:
This isn't the first time Roberts has posted a video of herself jamming to Carly Rae, though. Back in July, she recorded herself and her crew walking down the street and feeling themselves to the album's title track, accompanied by the caption, "Never gonna stop listening to this song":
Roberts was even showing Carly Rae stan-worthy love before E•MO•TION was released, updating fans on Twitter back in April with news that "All That"—a slow-burning 80s ballad and the album's first promotional single—had made its way onto her frequent playlist:
Be sure to catch Carly Rae Jepsen as part of FOX's live production of Grease this Sunday (January 31). She will also be hitting the road for the second iteration of her Gimmie Love Tour this winter and spring, beginning with a show at The Ritz in Raleigh, NC on February 12.
And remember: Don't stop dancing.
