Eminem’s New Album Might be Dropping This Fall
I looks like Eminem's long-awaited ninth solo album will drop in the fourth quarter of 2017.
According to a report from HitsDailyDouble, sources tell them that Marshall's new LP is slated to be released this fall along with other huge acts like Taylor Swift and Sam Smith.
Shady teased the project last year, releasing the news song, "Campaign Speech" and tweeting, "Don't worry I'm working on an album! Here's something meanwhile."
No other solo releases have materialized since, but lately news has started to leak about the project. A month ago, news broke that Dr. Dre is working on the LP. “Dre still records,” The Defiant Ones director, Allan Hughes said in an interview. “People don’t know this: Dre records every day. Literally, he’s in there recording songs every day. He’s like Picasso in that way. He’s always painting. Right now he’s producing, in the 11th hour, a track for Eminem’s latest album. So Dre’s still real active in music, you know? But I hear what you’re saying. It’s the truth.”
A few days later, 2 Chianz hinted at being involved in the project during interview on Shade 45.
Besides music, Em has another movie he is working on. The Detroit MC will be a producer on the upcoming battler rap comedy film, Bodied. The movie, which features the likes of battle rappers Loaded Lux, Disaster, Dumbfounded and Hollow Da Don, will premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in September.
