Easter Seals Hosting Online ‘Golfing Fore Kids’ Auction

Even if you won't be teeing it up at the annual Golfing Fore Kids event at Quail Crossing Golf Club just outside of Boonville, you can still help raise money for Easter Seals by bidding on several great items online!

The annual scramble is one I look forward to each year. Not because I love playing in it (even though my game isn't very good despite the fact that I've been playing for 15-plus years), but because it helps raise money for a great cause in the Easter Seals Rehabilitation Center. While I'm fortunate enough to have two healthy children that don't require the services Easter Seals provides, a good friend of mine has a young son with cerebral palsy that has benefited tremendously from his time at the Center.

Everything Easter Seals does is reliant on public donations to fund their facility, which is why events like this one are so important. As I said, you don't even have to be golfer to get in on the action thanks to an online auction be hosted in conjunction with the scramble.

Items include golf packages to some of the other great courses in the Evansville as well as courses along the famed Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail in Alabama. Also up for bids are non-golf get away's that include the opportunity to watch an Indianapolis Colts game in one the Lucas Oil Stadium suites, and various sports memorabilia.
