The Easter Sunday falls on April 20th this year, but the Dunigan Family YMCA will start the Easter celebration a week early with their first "Egg-Stravaganza" complete with activities for the kids, and of course, a huge Easter egg hunt!

The fun takes place at the east side YMCA location next to Lowes off Burkhardt Road for kids ages one through nine at 1pm on Saturday, April 12th and will feature face painting, pictures with the Easter Bunny, a petting zoo, plus three inflatables for the kids to bounce on.

The egg hunt will be divided into the following age groups and times to make things fair:

  • 1 & 2 year olds = 1:30 pm hunt
  • 3 & 4 year olds = 1:50 pm hunt
  • 5 & 6 year olds = 2:10 pm hunt
  • children 7 & up = 2:30 pm hunt

The event is open to the public with YMCA members admitted free with their membership card, and a small entry fee of $2.00 per child for non-members.

Organizers of the event ask that anyone participating register in advance by calling 812-401-9622
