Adorable Toddler Talks About Giving Her Sister a Hair Cut

This Dad clearly knows how to make some good out of a bad situation. 

NPR radio reporter Jeff Cohen's 5 year old daughter Sadie, gave her 3 year old sister, Eva an unauthorized haircut.   Apparently at some point in every little girls life, she makes a bad decision to cut her hair, and usually mom doesn't approve.  When I was a kid my mom said I cut my bangs super insanely short, and I did the same thing again when I was 21....actually it was only 3 weeks ago, i decided I would just trim my bangs a little, and kind of underestimated my face to bang ratio...  It was a bad idea, but that's another story for another day!

Anyways so these two little girls apparently went into the bathroom and decided to play hair salon, and mom and dad were NOT happy! But after the anger left, their Dad had an amazing idea.   To record the conversation he had with his two little girls about why Sadie cut Eva's hair.  Prepare to laugh hysterically, kids really do say the darnedest things.

When asked why she cut her sisters hair Sadie replied: "cause it was almost down to her tush and if she grew it any longer her hair would go into the toilet and it would be gross"

Her dad also asked, "When did you realize that cutting her hair was a bad idea?"  Sadie then said: "When I was finished and I put the scissors back and I looked at her, I was like uh-oh, this is bad, bad, bad."

I laughed through this whole thing! It's the funniest and most adorable thing I've ever heard. Thank goodness for dad's with a sense of humor like this one!
