City of Evansville Partners with Upgrade for Summer Parks Challenge

In an effort to get people out and active, the Evansville Parks and Recreation Department has teamed with the Welborn Baptist Foundation's Upgrade Campaign for a summer contest centered around our city's parks.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to visit our city parks and have fun! Oh, and take a few selfies while you're at it and upload them to the Upgrade Facebook page for the chance to win prizes such as an iPod Nano, a FitBit One, or a family membership to either Wesselman Woods Nature Preserve or Mesker Park Zoo.

So get out there! Run, jump, play! You may just find yourself having a better time than the kids.
