Camping, Swimming, Hiking, Burdette Park Has Everything You Need [VIDEO]
Whether you're looking to spend a weekend camping with the family, want to cool off for a few hours under the hot and humid Evansville summer sun, or want to stretch your legs with a hike through the woods on beautiful day, thanks to Burdette Park, you can do all three without having to leave town!
Being born and raised on the west side, I've spent more summer days at Burdette than I can count. My dad's side of the family used to have annual get-together's at the park where my cousins and I would explore while our parents grilled out, and I've spent countless hours at the pool jumping off the high dive and sliding down the water slides over and over again with friends. Now I'm older with kids of my own, giving me the opportunity to enjoy the park in a whole new way.
From chalet and cabin rentals to trails, and of course the pool, there's plenty Burdette has to offer Tri-State families looking to enjoy the great outdoors without needed to travel far to do it.
