BREAKING NEWS: DCHS Evacuated Due To Bomb Threat [UPDATE: Sherrif’s Report]

4:33 PM: The Daviess County Sheriff's Office has released a Report Summary of today's evacuation of Daviess County High School. The summary cited that, the DCSO was dispatched to DCHS based on a bomb threat written in a bathroom. Deputies searched the entire school. A bomb-sniffing K-9 was called to the scene and searched again. Neither searched turned up anything. The school was cleared and students re-entered the building to resume classes. The DCSO will continue to investigate the matter.

We've had several calls and inquiries about a possible evacuation at Daviess County High School in Owensboro. We have been told by the Owensboro Police Department that the school has been evacuated due to a bomb threat and that officers are on the way to the scene. This update was as of 12:35pm.
