If you looked high in the sky this morning you may have noticed something special. Back in December of 2019, the City of Owensboro announced the return of the U.S. Navy Blue Angels Demonstration Team. They'll perform in August of 2021 at the Owensboro Air Show.

It was a beautiful morning at Mid-America Jet in Owensboro. Even better because the Blue Angels came to town, bringing much excitement. They arrived in anticipation of the 2021 Owensboro Air Show that will happen in August. WBKR reported the big announcement at that time.

As part of this "Winter Visit" they'll talk logistics for the upcoming show today, November 16th, 2020. This is common for all cities hosting the Blue Angels in the upcoming year. You could tell that the team with the Blue Angels is excited about Owensboro Air Show and truly, all shows next year, as they didn't perform in 2020.

I had a chance to talk with Tim Ross, Director of Public Events with the City of Owensboro, at the press conference held this morning.

Also, had an opportunity to speak with Lieutenant Julius Bratton, who will call the 2021 Owensboro Air Show.

Excitement is building as we wait to see the U.S. Navy Blue Angels flying high in the sky over the Ohio River on August--the 13th through the 15th, 2021.

Are you ready for some fun in 2021 and what is your favorite part of the show?
