Quality Eats on the Cheap

Back in my younger days, I loved eating out. But I was broke, so it didn’t happen often. I had a few go-to spots in town with affordable meals, and one of my favorites was CiCi’s Pizza. I could grab a go-box and load it up with as much pizza and salad as I wanted for just $5. It was glorious! I don’t know if they still let you do that, but I could stretch that meal for a couple of days.

I’ve always loved a good salad bar, so I was pretty sad when Western Ribeye closed. Thankfully, there are still some great options around. When I saw a post in Tri-State Restaurant Reviews asking for salad bar recommendations, I made sure to save it for later.

My Favorite Salad Bars

Personally, I still LOVE Cici's Pizza salad bar. Value and freshness. Yes! I also love Cork & Cleaver. They have some higher-end offerings that I look forward to. But, in my opinion, the most comprehensive salad bar in the tri-state is Schnitzelbank. I usually just get that when I go! To be fair, I've never been to some of these places. Heck, I've never even heard of some of these places. Looks like I have a salad bar bucket list to attend to!
