Today is a day to make you think. Today we honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. He was a truly brilliant man. He saw for us a life without prejudice. While he may have been speaking during the era of the Civil Rights Movement, his words ring true, even today. His words are bigger than black & white.

Dr. King's words are about being human, and being accepted as such. Nothing less, nothing more. We are ALL equal, and when you strip away all other labels, that is all that  we are. Human. I ran across this video that was created by Middle School students. It gives me hope. It shows me that our children are starting to see that we are all different. We are all special, and we are all human.Regardless of gender, nationality, religion, or sexual orientation, we are all one  - the human race. It seemed fitting that I share this with you today. I hope it gives you as much hope as it did me.
