Ariana Grande is ready to put 2018 behind her.

The pop star reflected on her difficult year on Instagram, writing, "farewell 2018, you f---." She then took a moment to wish good things for her fans in the year to come.

"i hope this new year brings you all much laughter, clarity and healing," Grande, 25, wrote.

The "Imagine" singer told followers to "be gentle with yourselves and each other." She added, "if we made it thru this last year, we'll for sure make it thru this one."

"thank you for everything," she continued.

Days prior, Grande shared her wished for the new year on Twitter. She told fans she was hopeful that 2019 would be "beautiful."

"i hope next year is beautiful for u," she tweeted.

Grande's faced her share of trials and tribulations in 2018. After getting engaged to Pete Davidson in June, the pair called it quits four months later. A month before their split, ex-boyfriend Mac Miller died from an accidental overdose.

She's been coping with both losses in the months since, but it hasn't been easy. Grande recently canceled what would have been her first post-breakup performance, scheduled for Dec. 29 at the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas. She addressed the cancelation on Instagram.

"Vegas, I'm currently working through some health issues and am beyond sorry I won't be able to see u this weekend," she wrote on Instagram Stories. "I love u and so look forward to seeing u and making it up to us next year."
