American Horror Story is an anthology series where each season features a different storyline. The first season is Murder House, which is a not-so-typical haunted house tale. Season two is Asylum, that takes place in, you guessed it, an insane asylum. Season three is the witch-centered Coven. Season four takes place during the 1950's and focuses on a traveling Freak Show. And season five was the bizarre Hotel season. Season six is currently airing.

Each season has a number of cast members who return as different characters. The show has helped launch the career's of Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson, and helped revitalize the career of Kathy Bates. The first five seasons are currently on Netflix and can be streamed now.

Don't blame me if you can't sleep afterwards. The show is great, but super creepy. You've been warned!
