Bring the whole family for what is guaranteed to be "frighteningly" good time (sorry, I couldn't stop myself).

The Monster Mash Bash Weekend takes place Saturday, October 27th and Sunday, October 28th beginning inside the Evansville Coliseum with a special Halloween edition of the classic Mike Harvey sock hop Saturday night at 7:00. This all ages Bash will include a costume contest sponsored by Henderson Chevrolet, Buick, GMC with prizes awarded for the best costumes. Food and drinks will also be available for purchase throughout the night. Tickets for the shindig are available for $10 in advance through our events calendar, or $15 at the door.

The weekend continues Sunday from Noon - 3pm with the annual Main Street Trick or Treat on the Walkway in Downtown Evansville. This portion of the weekend is free to attend and offers a safe and friendly trick or treating environment for the kids with local businesses providing candy and other goodies.

The weekend wraps up with our second annual Zombie Walk. Just like last year, anyone interested in dragging their undead feet down the Main Street Walkway just needs to show up at the intersection of 5th and the Walkway at 4:30. The walk will begin at 5:00 and will take place all the way down the Walkway to Riverside Drive then down to the Four Freedoms Monument. From there, all zombies in attendance will feast on the flesh of the living. Just kidding, we'll probably all just go back home, clean ourselves up, and get ready for work on Monday.

We had a great group of zombies for last year's inaugural walk, and look forward to an even better turnout this year. If you weren't part of the fun last year, and want a good idea of how it goes down, check out the video from last year's event produced by local filmmakers, Blood and Guts Productions.
