Coffee lovers this one is for you! A food website went around the country finding the best coffee shops in each state and the one they found in the Show-Me State of Missouri looks like heaven for coffee drinkers.

If you are looking for the best place to get your coffee in all of Missouri well then you need to check out a place called Comet Coffee in the St. Louis area because according to the website tastingtable.com, it is the Best Coffee Shop in the Show-Me State. This website ranked the best coffee shop in each state, so what makes Comet Coffee number 1? On the site they say...

"Comet Coffee not only pours single-origin coffee, but they've also got a full menu of food like breakfast sandwiches and Japanese curry sourced almost exclusively from local purveyors. Comet also acts as a micro-bakery, crafting croissants that people flock from all over greater St. Louis to enjoy. They've proven so popular, Comet opened an offshoot croissant shop called Comet Croissanterie..."

Comet Coffee's website says its main location is in the Cheltenham neighborhood of St. Louis, at the Highlands Plaza at the 5700 block of Oakland Avenue, and they have a second location in Kirkwood, Missouri now as well.

I am not much of a coffee drinker at all but I do know that people who love coffee will go out of their way to find a great coffee shop, and from the looks of it Comet Coffee seems worth the trip, for our listeners on the Illinois side of the river, the site lists The Wormhole in Chicago as the best coffee shop in the Land of Lincoln.
