7 Nostalgic Christmas Songs That Give Us The Feels All Over Again
Christmas just doesn't feel like Christmas without your favorite Christmas songs to help bring about the holiday cheer. Here are 7 Christmas songs that give us the feels each year:
1) Andy Williams - It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year
A song as big as Christmas itself, "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year" really puts us in the Christmas mood. Not to mention it's in just about every Christmas movie ever made. There's almost no other Christmas song as recognizable as this one!
2) Mariah Carey - All I Want For Christmas Is You
One of the most famous Christmas songs of all time, Carey's "All I Want For Christmas Is You" is the universal modern Christmas love song. Anytime it comes on we can't help but try to hit those high notes.
3) Hanson - Merry Christmas, Baby
From their wildly popular Christmas album, Snowed In, "Merry Christmas, Baby" gives us all the feels. ALL. THE. FEELS. Every girl ages 10 to 14 during the time of Hanson mania surely had this album. Personally, I'm a little bummed out I never married Zac like I planned too.
4) Faith Hill - Where Are You Christmas?
In the year 2000, the remake of How The Grinch Stole Christmas with Jim Carrey came out and everyone went to see it. Faith Hill recorded Where Are You Christmas? as the headlining musical theme for How The Grinch Stole Christmas and the rest is history. I still tear up watching little Cindy Lou poignantly sing, "Where are you Christmas?"
5) Run DMC - Christmas in Hollis
Well, it isn't Christmas without Run DMC, now is it? That very beginning opening riff comes on and all of a sudden Christmas is the time to party!
6) NSYNC - Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays
Every young girl everywhere in the late 90's and early 2000's knew who NSYNC was. When they came out with "Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays" we all thought they were singing directly to us under the mistletoe. Ah, young love!
7) Vince Guaraldi - Christmas Time is Here (from A Charlie Brown Christmas)
Christmas just doesn't feel like Christmas without Charlie Brown. Every time I hear this song it really makes the Christmas cheer flow.
