This year is set up to be a great year for movies, especially for remakes! With all the advancement in special effects, a lot of movies that couldn't be done correctly in past will finally get there chance to shine in 2020! Here's a list of my Top 5 Most Anticipated Movies for 2020!

5. Coming 2 America -  This is the long awaited sequel to Coming to America (1988) that starred Eddie Murphy as an African Prince looking for love in America. The film will be directed by Craig Brewer based on characters created by Eddie Murphy and starring many of the original cast member including James Earl Jones, Arsenio Hall, and John Amos.

4. Morbius - This is a movie that definitely benefits from today's special effects. This movie follows the origins of one of Spiderman's most notable 'frenemies' Michael Morbius who will be played by Jared Leto.  In the comic lore, Morbius is biochemist the tries to cure himself of a rare blood disease by using the DNA of bats, but end up infecting himself with a form of vampirism.

3. Kingmans 3: The King's Man - This is the third installment of the wildly popular Kingsman series the centers around British ultra-secret agents. In this one, the Kingsman must race against time to stop history's worst tyrants and criminal masterminds as they get together to plot a war that could wipe out millions of people and destroy humanity.

2. Mulan (Live Action) - This version won't be hyper CG like the Lion King remake but instead will star a real life cast. Although Mushu the Dragon won't be in this movie like in the cartoon but a mild tribute reference will be made. A more serious take on the Chinese folklore of a young woman who disguises herself as a man in order to join the military and fight for her country.

And my #1 Most Anticipated movie of the year is -

1. The Eternals - As a fan of Marvel comics from back in the day, I love how Marvel is bringing more and more of the comic universe to the cinematic universe. In case you didn't know, in the comics, the Eternals are the race from which THANOS came from. I'm hoping this movie establishes that connection somehow and gives those who might not be familiar with the origins of the Mad Titan, some relevant background content.
