Believe it or not, we're not too far away from Fair season in the Tri-State, which of course will include the Vanderburgh County Fair July 24th through 29th. While the Fair has several great things to see and do each year, the highlight of the week is the concert that happens on Wednesday night. The show has featured some heavy hitters in the world of Country over the years including Blake Shelton and Morgan Wallen among others. This year, they're bringing in a young up-and-coming artist who made the finals during last year's season of America's Got Talent.

Drake Milligan to Headline 2023 Vanderburgh County Fair Concert

If you're a fan of America's Got Talent, you remember Drake making a big impression on judges Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Sophia Vergara, and Howie Mandel with his first audition where he and his band performed their single, "Sounds Like Something I'd Do."

His young-Elivs look and swagger was a hit not only with the judges, but with the audience as well as he made his way all the way to the finals. Unfortunately, he didn't win the whole show, but he did come in third which is nothing to sneeze at.

Shortly after the show wrapped for the season, Drake released his debut album, Dallas/Ft. Worth, a nod to his hometown which includes the single, "Kiss Goodby All Night" which he performed during the AGT finals.

Drake won't be alone when he takes the Vanderburgh County Fair stage. Opening for him will be another up-and-coming artist, Dylan Schneider.

As always, admission to the show will be included in the price of admission for that night of the Fair. However, for an extra fee, you can purchase a wristband that will allow you to get up close to the stage.

The Vanderburgh County Fair will happen July 24th through 29th, 2023.
