Enjoy an evening of ice cold craft beer, wine, and spirits, along with food from some of Evansville's best local restaurants under the lights at Bosse Field for a great cause!

The Southwestern Indiana Regional Council on Aging (SWIRCA) will hold their annual BrewFest on Saturday, September 23rd from 6PM - 9 PM at Bosse Field on Evansville's north side. Along with the aforementioned drinks and food, the evening will also include live music.

Regardless of your drink of choice there will be a variety of options to choose from — 300 to be exact, from brewers all across the region. If beer isn't your thing, there will also be over 50 wines, and 20 types of liquor, including bourbon, whiskey, and vodka, to choose from.

Tickets are available now with general admission tickets going for $35 each in advance, or $40 at the gate on the night of the event. VIP tickets are also available for $70 each.

Not sure which to go with? Here's a quick breakdown of each option and what that gets you:

General admission: Includes all beverage tastings, food samples, a commemorative tasting glass, festival program, live entertainment, and free cab rides home sponsored by Unity Taxi.

VIP ticket: Enjoy a premium Fest experience with extra perks such as premium parking, exclusive VIP entrance, the opportunity to beat the crowds and sample early during our 5-6 PM VIP hour and access to the VIP area to enjoy gourmet culinary treats, and specialty cocktails and massages.

As the event's emcee last year and again this year, I have the benefit of getting to enjoy the VIP experience, and I will tell you the extra money you'll spend is definitely worth it. The crowd is a little smaller which gets you quicker access to the brewers on hand, meaning you get alcohol in your belly sooner! Plus, the extra money goes to SWIRCA! It's win-win for everyone!

The event is open to anyone 21 years of age or older. Sorry kiddos!
