2 Chainz Opening ‘Escobar’ Restaurant and Lounge in Atlanta This Summer

2 Chainz continues to invest in business ventures outside of hip-hop, recently announcing he will be opening his Escobar restaurant and lounge in downtown Atlanta. According to the the restaurant's official Instagram page, it will open this summer. The upscale spot will be located off Peter St.

The lounge has been in motion for a while now, but Tit recently took to Instagram to reveal the updated news. Posting a picture of the outside of the venue, which is currently under construction, the Atlanta rapper captioned the pic, "So I think it's time i let y'all in on my newest venture as an entrepreneur this spot is called @escobarlounge my first club/lounge in the city of Atlanta off Peter St... #GodisGood ...will be given opportunities and hiring reliable employees in the near future 1love 2Chainz."

The restaurant is currently hiring for a number of positions including management, security and cooks.

We've been hearing about the spot since earlier this year. “We want [Escobar Lounge] to be one of the top spots for the upscale — celebrity — crowd in the city,” spokesperson Giselle Warren told What Now Atlanta back in March. “2 Chainz has been looking to get into the restaurant industry for a while now, and this is an opportunity to do something unique.”
