Our annual St. Jude Radiothon is an event everyone at the station looks forward to each year because we know it's our chance to raise a ton of cash for an extremely worthwhile cause. The two day event takes place not only on KISS-FM, but our six Townsquare Media sister-stations in Evansville (103GBF, 99.5 WKDQ, 105.3 WJLT, and Newstalk 1280 WGBF-AM), and in Owensboro (92.5 WBKR and Newstalk 1490 W

The numbers are in and thanks to your unbelievable generosity over the course of our two day radiothon, we are able to present hefty amount of cash to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.

What began as leg pains and flu-like symptoms turned into a frightening, life-changing event for Anthony Lawrence and his family. This is their story.

Yesterday afternoon during day one of our St. Jude Radiothon, Katie Witsoe of Evansville and her children Conner, Matthew, Anna, and Ian stopped by the studio to share their story of how St. Jude helped them through a dark time when their son/brother Sean was a patient there.

We've all had days where we feel a bit run down for whatever reason. A long day at work, not enough sleep, stress, kids, whatever. For people suffering from Mitochondrial disease, it's a feeling they suffer through every day with consequences that can be life threatening.

Guns 'N' Hoses is one of my favorite events of the year. It's an entertaining mix of boxing action and benefits a great cause all in one night!

A story came up in Kat's news today that caused quite a controversy.  In a middle school in Monticello, Indiana, a student has been reprimanded for wearing a silicone bracelet reading "I Boobies," in support of breast cancer awareness.  The Indiana A.C.L.U. has come to the boy's defense, saying forbidding the boy from wearing it is in violation of his first amendment rights.  What do yo

Sadly, nearly everyone is affected by some form of cancer in some way. Personally, I've had family members lose their battle with the disease, so I know what it can do not only to the person affected, but there family as well. On the flip side, I also know people who have survived cancer and are leading normal, healthy lives thanks in part to fundraising efforts such as the upcoming Relay for Life
