Adele's declining health has been well-documented on this site. As an update, Adele has confirmed she is about to put her throat and vocal cords "under the knife."

The 2012 People’s Choice Awards have released a lengthy list of contenders for next year’s ceremony, with Katy Perry and Lady Gaga predictably leading the way. Each award features 12 possible contenders, and it’s up to fans to narrow down the choices to the final five nominees in each category.

Nominations for the American Music Awards were announced today, and British singer Adele leads the pack with four nominations, including Artist of the Year and Favorite Female Artist. Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Taylor Swift, Lil Wayne and country group The Band Perry were right behind Adele with three nods apiece. Perry will perform on the show, as will Pitbull. The AMAs will be handed out November 20, and the awards ceremony will air live on ABC. Fans can vote for the winners via the show’s website. Here are the nominees:

For the second time this year, singer Adele has been forced to cancel more tour dates due to problems relating to her hemorrhaging vocal cords.  This news is especially devastating to her fans, most of whom believe she has the most-beautiful, clean, pure sounding voice in all of music...

After providing a small sneak preview earlier in the week, Adele debuted the official video for "Someone Like You" last night on MTV at 6:56 Evansville time.

2011 has been a breakout year for Adele. Her latest album, 21 has sold over 10 million copies worldwide thanks in part to the huge success of it's first two singles, "Rolling in the Deep" and the piano ballad "Someone Like You". Everywhere you look, it seems like Adele is there. With the exception of one area...music videos.

This is a beautiful song. You've probably heard everyone on KISS say how much they love Adele's "Someone Like You." It is a touching song of love lost, the struggle to put it behind us, and trying to move on. This particular cover is a duet that is simply beautiful...

Monday night "Rolling in the Deep" and "Someone Like You" singer Adele was performing a concert in England and noticed a fan in the crowd had fainted.
