Burdette Barbecue, Bands, and Brew Festival to Raise Money for St. Jude Hospital

Just because summer is nearly over, doesn't mean you can't still enjoy the great outdoors!

The Burdette BBQ, Bands & Brew is coming up on Saturday, September 28, 2013 from 1 pm – 8pm and will offer exactly what it says; live music, barbeque, and beer! Does it get any better? Yes! Because admission is free!

If you think you have some meat-smoking skills, put your meat where your mouth is and enter the barbecue competition for the chance to score cash prizes! Prizes will be awarded to the top three spots in each category starting at 600.00 for first place! Prefer eating barbecue over cooking it? Then help judge the "People's Choice" category by purchasing a sample cup for $7.00. A portion of the proceeds will go to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.

Live music begins right at 1:00pm with Andy Moore, lead singer of Dang Heathens, and will continue throughout the day at the following times:
