Will Smith Part Owner of Philadelphia 76ers

Only weeks after Jay-Z had announced he's moving HIS New Jersey Nets to Brooklyn, musician/actor Will Smith has announced he's also now entering the NBA team-ownership arena.

Will has announced that he and wife Jada have purchased part-ownership of Philadelphia's NBA team, the beloved 76ers.  As I'm sure we all remember from the "Fresh Prince of Bel Air" theme song, Will of course is from "West Philadelphia, born and raised."

As a fellow Philadelphian, I am excited to hear of the Fresh Prince's stake in my favorite basketball team, however I just hope he keeps his kids out of management positions.
