City Data is a great website if you want to know all the things about where you live. It provides info on restaurants and local business. Also, the have a tab dedicated to Sex Offenders and provide helpful maps as shown below:

This site is incredibly helpful as it now only shows sex offenders, but violent offenders as well. This is helpful as it provides you with more info so you can further protect your family from harm this season. You can also search by your specific neighborhood as opposed to having to hunt around a site for it.

Home Facts is a website mostly designed for people looking to buy a home and wanting to know exactly what type of neighborhood they are moving into. This site is also great for finding out about sex offenders. It also posts photos of said offenders as well. So yeah, if you want to buy a house in a good neighborhood, this site will help you with that too.

Doxpop is the best site to use to find detailed info about court cases, criminal records, etc. This site not only offers a huge selection of public records, but it does so for free. This site is useful for a number of things including looking up people you might be going on dates with. Seriously. That sounds like a joke but a ton of my friends swear by this site when meeting up with someone. You can also get more detailed info on any sex offenders in your area.

There you have it! A list of resources to make sure you have a safe and Happy Halloween!
