Tri-State Women in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math), a volunteer group dedicated to providing "professional development, networking and outreach opportunities for women in STEM fields to enhance their careers and encourage others to pursue careers in STEM" is inviting girls in grades four through eight with an interest in any of those fields to an exploration day at the University of Evansville this Saturday, March 3rd, 2018.

“Beauty of Engineering: A Day of Engineering and Computing for Girls" is a half-day event from 7:45 until 11:15 a.m. at the Koch Center for Engineering and Science (Room 101) on the UE campus, and will feature a variety of activity stations focused on, well, engineering and computer science obviously. All of which will be staffed by women and college students in those fields.

If you have a daughter, sister, or niece who has shown interest in STEM fields, this will be a great opportunity for them to get hands on experience to find out if they would like to pursue a career in one of those fields!

Registration is $10 per attendant, can be done online, is limited to the first 120 participants, and must be done in advance by this Thursday, March 1st.
