Tri-State Under Wind Advisory Tuesday, Oct 25 – NWS Warns Tornadoes Possible
This past weekend, my husband told me he was leaving for an hour. I asked him if that was a "husband hour" or a "real hour." He has a tendency to have complete time blindness which I find totally annoying.
Anyway, an hour came and went. Then, another hour. Then, I got annoyed. I had things for him to do! So, I texted. WHEN WILL YOU BE HOME? I know, I'm a delight.
He sent me a photo of him cutting up a tree in our neighborhood. It was blocking the path of him getting home. Apparently, a pretty large tree was knocked over by the wind and came up by the roots. It fell across the road so police, county personnel, and neighbors worked hard to get the tree cut up and disposed of.
Falling trees happen more often than you think. So, be extra cautious today as there is a wind advisory from the National Weather Service.
