This Puzzle Stumped Kat Mykals – Did You Solve It?

I posted a puzzle yesterday, and I wondered if you would be able to solve it. I know I sure couldn't! In fact I had to have my daughter not only GIVE me the answer but EXPLAIN it to me too!

If you saw this yesterday and were stumped like I was, don't worry! You weren't the only one! If you want to know the answer to that crazy little question mark, scroll down for the answer, but be warned... You will feel very silly! I sure did!!

The answer is 2. Yes. TWO. You are likely asking yourself how in the world that series of 4 digits could possibly equal 2... well, it does. Each set of 4 digits is made up of numerals 0-9. Each numeral either contains an enclosed circle (6,8,9,0) or it doesn't (1,2,3,4,5,7) - 8 has two enclosed circles. The answer to each 4 digit series is the number of enclosed circles within that series.

0000=4

2691=2

Yep. It's that simple, and if you're like me, you probably TOTALLY over thought the whole puzzle! LOL
